Antyk z poprzedniej epoki

Projekt Tazmon 

 

Celem projektu jest zbudowanie najprawdziwszego antyka -  cacuszka :-). Pierwszy model jaki na rynek wypuściła Santa Cruz. Aby udało się to przedsięwzięcie potrzeba kilka szpejów z minionej epoki :-)

Udało mi się nabyć nową ramkę (nie mam pojęcia w jakim cudem się w takim stanie ostała - foto wyżej) Tazmona (prawdopodobnie rocznik 1996).

 

Mam do Was prośbę, jeśli macie na pozbyciu się (oczywiście za psie pieniądze lub browary hehe) komponenty z tamtych lat chętnie przygarnę kilka szpejów.

 

Przyszedł prosto z Pensylwanii Cool amorek w świetnej formie. Kolorek sam raz pod ramkę :-) - stan naprawdę super :-)

I'm your height; for me, a 56cm Madone is comfortable, a 58cm is ridable, and a 60cm would be out of the question. The required stem would be so short that the handling would change significantly.If it actually does fit you well, don't fret about the price. The components other than the wheels saddle are excellent at this price.I hope the LBS is being helpful and not simply trying to move something out the door because your options are limited in that price range. I suspect you believe the latter.

Buy the bike complete. There is no pobissle way to buy a frame, then purchase the various parts for less than twice the price of a complete bike. With a complete bike, you get a manufacturer's warranty, service from the shop where you bought it, and the peace of mind that it was properly assembled. Bike computers are pretty generic, the more features they have, the more they cost. They are all designed to work on any bike. If you are looking at a specific brand, like Cannondale, your dealer can advise you about what you need with you when you hit the road

PandaYou are putting way to much eoffrt into this. The answer, as you suspected, is that you will spend two to three times the amount for building versus buying the same quality bicycle. You simply cannot buy the parts for anywhere near what the companies can. Funny thing is that the cheapest way to build a bike would to by a frame, and then buy a bike that has all the components that you want on it. Then sell the new frame with everything removed. Yep, I agree with what Charles told you. Some hubs, even in the exact same models are just quteeir than others. It may have to do with the viscosity of the grease, slightly different internal tolerances or something else. I personally really like the Shimano silent clutch hubs and hate loud, buzzy hubs.
